Hi!

We are Tamra and Jules

We’re just two regular moms bonded by our neurodiverse (ND) kids and a mission to create a supportive South African focused community. We share our stories, learn from the wisdom of the ND community and dedicated professionals to offer practical and effective support.

We get it! The endless sea of parenting advice can feel like a maze. We didn’t sign up for this complexity, did we?

Let’s face it, we’re tired!

What we really need is a clear path, some good laughs, and support to guide us forward.

In Conclusion, you’ve got this!

Parenting neurodiverse children is a journey full of twists and turns. It’s messy, beautiful, and uniquely yours. So, embrace the journey with an open heart, a dash of humour, and loads of love. Remember, there’s no one-size-fits-all approach, and that’s perfectly fine.

With understanding, acceptance, and a whole lot of love!

Tamra

Tamra is a Registered Psychological Counsellor with over 10 years of experience in both private and clinical settings.

She is a mom to two boys, one who is ND. She has walked the long and often heart-breaking path towards understanding what neurodiversity means for her family, and how to get help for both the child and the family system. It is with a deep, heartfelt understanding around how difficult it can be for parents to reach a place of understanding and peace, that The Neuroverse was created.

Jules

Jules is our marketing guru and general entrepreneur.

She’s a mom of 3 boys, 2 of which have been diagnosed with ADHD, but both of whom are completely different. Her boys are in main stream education and she’s been on this journey for 10 years already. Jules has traversed many different directions in approaching her kids’ diagnosis – if it’s out there, she’s probably done it! Jules has a degree in psychology and marketing and is also a jewellery designer by trade.
